It Ain't A Tootsie Roll!
Ok, someone, today, posed the question...."what is the grossest thing you've ever eaten....either voluntarily or involuntarily?". Immediately, I thought of my husband (no matter how much you're tempted, please don't read into that statement).
A couple of years ago, we were visiting his twin sisters at their home on the coast of Massachusetts. We ordered seafood out. Big mistake....at least on my husband's part.
He ordered a seafood alfredo meal. Sounds yummy, right? Um....well.... Cut to my husband's first bite. He said it tasted sour (almost like puke, if you want me to be graphic....if not, well, stop reading!). So what does he do after that? He tastes it....AGAIN.....just to be SURE it's completely disgusting. Retch.
We were laughing about it the other day. He said, "B, why did I insist on taking another bite of that?". Like the owl in the Toostie Roll commercial....."the world may never know".
The world looks mighty good to me......

Let's see... voluntarily, it would have to be this General Tsao's chicken we picked up at the chinese food section of the deli counter at Safeway (a supermarket chain). This stuff was the kind of bad that you have to make your friends try just so they can truly appreciate how much you've suffered - which I did.
You'd think that given the description of the source of the chinese food, I might have had a little tipoff that it wasn't going to be anything worth risking my life over, but, when you're 21, you tend to live on the edge...
